PWSA of WI is a community-driven organization; all of our events, projects, and success stories depend on volunteers from the PWS community. You can get involved volunteering for our events or serving on a committee with varying focuses and projects associated with them. Please see below to see what opportunities are available and fill out the volunteer interest form at the bottom.

Office and Clerical: Volunteers are always welcome to help with sending out cards for Card Club, and other office and clerical duties.
Newsletter Contributors: Our quarterly newsletter, The Wisconsin Connection, keeps members informed and updated on issues related to persons with disabilities as well as specific issues related to Prader-Willi Syndrome. We welcome original contributions, such as photographs, articles and stories, et cetera.
Annual Ball is an evening of elegance to individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families and friends. It is a fun and safe evening with dinner and dancing that many look forward to all year. Volunteers are needed prior to the event to put together boutonnieres and corsages and the day of the event to serve dinner.
A Walk in the Park is the May awareness walk event for PWSA of WI. Volunteers opportunities include gathering sponsors for the event and bagging the walk shirts prior to the event. Volunteers are also needed the day of the event to set-up, put together and distribute lunches, hand out waters, and take-down.
Golf Benefit is an annual event held at the end of summer. Volunteers are needed to gather sponsors, hole sponsors, silent auction and raffle items, as well as spread the word about the event to increase golfer participation. Volunteers also needed the day of the event to check-in golfers, take care of the various hole contests, and take photos of the golfers and activities.
